My 5 kids have been seeing Dr. Welch for about 4 years now. He and his staff are so patient and kind! This helps so much with nervous kiddos. There's a cute play area too for littles while you wait and a game room for bigger kids. I recommend this office to all of my friends and family.

We absolutely love Arizona Pediatrics! Dr. Welch is an amazing doctor who does a great job every single visit. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and always makes us feel comfortable and cared for. His staff is great — kind, welcoming, and always professional. We’ve been coming to this office for over 10 years, and it’s been such a positive experience for our family. We’re so grateful for the care we receive here and highly recommend them!

I brought all three of my kids in today, ages 8, 4, and 2. I normally don’t go to appointments like this without my husband because it’s impossible, especially with toddlers! Dr. Welch is absolutely AMAZING! He completely defied all odds and all three of my kids had their teeth examined and cleaned today completely at peace and calm! He found things in common with my kids, was silly with my baby, and knew how to communicate/treat each child based on their age/level of development! Most professionals treat everyone the same and don’t adjust based on your needs like Dr. Welch did! Dr. Welch and his staff worked wonders today and I’m forever grateful! I highly recommend!

Their high reviews do not tell the entire story of this establishment. The main dentist is great, but those around him need to be re-evaluated. Here are the following reasons I will be pulling my children from this practice and going elsewhere: 1. They brushed off my child due to sensory issues and said it wasn't a big deal that he didn't want to brush their teeth/take photos. They keep saying we'll get it next time while he developed major cavities. 2. They are unethical with their billing practices. Both of my children were marked as "high risk" despite them telling me they looked "wonderful" at their appointments. This means their 6mo appointment will now require an additional payment! 3. You have to pay upfront for your dental procedure and they won't refund you unless you bring it up. Even then, you feel like you're going to battle when you have to supply them your EOB as justification. 4. They tell you they are unable to bill insurance for general anesthesia. When I asked my insurance they clearly cover it. 5. Overall their flexibility on hours isn't condusive to school. They aren't open Fridays and if you need to do a filling it's only morning appointments on specific days. If you're lucky enough to require anesthesia, they only do these appointments every couple of months (so you could be waiting up to 6+months to get treatment). 6. Their waiting area has many broken toys (the outdated video games don't even work anymore). For being a pediatric speciality dentist I'm very disappointed. I have no idea how they have such rave reviews. I let them try to redeem themselves over a course of two years and now they crossed the line this past year with the continued issues that don't get resolved.

We have been seeing Dr. Welch for about 10 years now. He is kind, understanding, and thorough. I have appreciated his approach to treatment and that he takes the time to explain. The office staff has always been kind and welcoming. The dental hygienist is amazing. Very gentle and professional. The dental assistants are also great! They are quick and efficient while being fun and patient with the kids! 10/10 I will always refer people to this office!
