Took our youngest daughter to her last appointment with Dr. Crippen this week and it feels like we lost a family member. David has seen our four daughters since our eldest was five. She is now 26! He's always been honest, kind, reasonable and had integrity. Exactly what young (not anymore) mothers want in someone responsible for their children's care! In the early 2000's, David was with a not-so-great practice. My third daughter was 3 and sucking her thumb. He had her pick out a toy and if she had stopped sucking her thumb, in six months, she could have the toy! It worked but when we came back, he was no longer there. The not-so-great practice later had a diagnosis for my eldest that would require a great out of pocket expense. I wanted to get a second opinion, opened the phone book (at the time!) and made an appointment with Capital Pediatric. When we arrived, we both had a, "You look familiar..." moment, put 2 and 2 together and the rest is history! We have trusted him and he has never steered us wrong. We moved to Folsom and I still took our daughters there because he's the best! He referred us to great orthodontists when braces were needed and gave us recommendations for adult dentists, now that our daughters have to move on AND he's kinda cool :) We'll miss you, Dr. Crippen

Dr. Crippen is an excellent dentist and does a wonderful job with both my child's needs and our questions as parents. His staff is great and I've been impressed with them on both visits with our daughter.

My son has been with Dr D. Crippen since his first dentist appointment with first few teeth. His office accommodated my son's sensitivities and fears of dental visits amazingly well in the early years that my son never has issues returning for his dental office. My son swims six days a week and the pool water stains his teeth. Dr. Crippen staff are wonderful at working with my son on removing the stain and showed him ways to keep clean. Today he graduated from a pediatric dentist and moving on to general dentist. Dr. Crippen office is excellent at working with children and especially with kids that need extra attention.

Great compliments to Dr. Crippen and his team! We had such a great experience at the office and with the doctor. Everything is seamless, efficient and effective. The staff are friendly and responsive. Dr. Crippen is a delight and very skilled and knowledgeable. Our kid needed a more complex procedure and was referred to Dr. Crippen's office by the primary dental provider. We were impressed with the care, the attention to detail and the outcome. I loved that there was an ER nurse present during the conscious sedation procedure. He was very knowledgeable, approachable, caring and great with kids. We felt well taken care of and can only give the highest recommendations to Dr. Crippen and his team. Thank you for an amazing experience!

I offered to write this review after the extremely positive experience my son and I had with Dr. Lu and his team yesterday. My son had two prior unsuccessful attempts at treatment at a different office due to a bad gag reflux and lacking pre procedure I instructions. I was nervous for the first treatment at a new office. Dr. Lu was absolutely wonderful with my 8 year old son. He was professional, calm, reassuring, and engaging in a kid friendly way with my son the entire time. I think his skill and manner was key to keeping my son relaxed, empowered to know what was happening in his mouth and able to get through the procedure without any difficulty. The two assistants in the room were also wonderful and kind. I am so grateful that my son will continue to be in his care for his dental needs. He called me to answer questions I had re: treatment options beforehand and called a couple hours after treatment to check on my son. Thank you Capital Pediatric Dentistry for your competent service all around from the administrative staff to the hygienists and dentists.
