We had our first visit today after moving from New York City. My son is 5 years old and typically does well at the dentist, though he does get nervous—and as a parent, finding a new office after a move can be stressful. This was an incredible experience from start to finish. The office is spacious, filled with natural light, and beautifully decorated. I really value this because the environment plays such an important role in helping a little one feel comfortable in a setting that can sometimes be intimidating. From the front desk to the technician to the dentist, we had a truly 10/10 experience, and I am so grateful and excited we found Dr. Parks. We’re genuinely looking forward to returning for regular care, and I will absolutely be recommending this office to our community. Thank you so much!

I have never been so in awe of a dentist. Truly, I wish they’d take adults! I had a not-so-great dental experience when my daughter was a year old. She’s almost 5 now and I’ve been putting off taking her to the dentist since then. My friend recommended Dr. Parks after having a great experience and honestly, the dog (George) was a huge selling point for me & my daughter (it’s how I bribed her to go!!!) Ruby, the hygienist, was so great and gentle with my daughter’s cleaning and X-rays. And Dr. Parks was so friendly and amazing! It was genuinely such a great experience. The receptionists were also so great - Brittany and Sel were so friendly and welcoming :) My daughter asked if we could “go back to the dentist tomorrow?” Which are words I’d never thought I’d hear her say. Thank you for making going to the dentist FUN and relaxing!!!

I’m still in a bit of disbelief after our first experience at Parks Dentistry — in the best possible way. My child is neurodivergent, and past dental visits have been overwhelming and traumatic for both of us. I’d done research, asked in support groups, and was referred to two other dentists in San Diego, but each required lengthy paperwork before even scheduling — and in one case, I didn’t learn they were out of network until after completing all the forms. Then I came across an Instagram ad for Parks Dentistry and decided to fill out their interest questionnaire. The office called me shortly after, and the staff member I spoke with was incredibly kind, patient, and informative. She reassured me that Dr. Parks has experience working with neurodivergent children and mentioned that he had just opened his new practice. I happened to be in the middle of a meeting when she called, and when I asked her to call back later, she actually did — promptly, just as promised. We were even able to schedule an appointment within a week. Another huge relief was how simple and accessible their forms were. Everything was electronic, sent by text and email, and incredibly easy to fill out. Unlike other offices where outdated or lengthy paperwork slowed everything down, Parks Dentistry’s forms were streamlined and current, which made the entire process stress-free. When we arrived, I immediately noticed how different the environment felt. The office is bright with natural light, beautifully curated paint and tiles, open, and calming — no partitions or crowded spaces, just a warm and clean, welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Parks greeted us right away along with his therapy dog, which instantly put my son at ease. What truly stood out was how calm, patient, and genuinely understanding Dr. Parks was. He created a safe space for my son from the moment we walked in. Instead of rushing into an exam, he allowed my son to explore freely, play, and become familiar with the equipment and the environment at his own pace. That simple act of respect and patience made all the difference. My son felt comfortable, curious, and — for the first time — not afraid at the dentist. I can’t express how grateful I am to have found this practice. Parks Dentistry has set a new standard for what compassionate, neurodivergent-affirming care should look like.

5 stars across the board. I’ve got 6 kiddos, 5 with teeth. They were able to get all my kiddos in in one afternoon without a tear. Dr. Parks was so kind, calm and gentle. The team made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. The office is beautiful and has a very chill atmosphere. Very clean and great toys to keep the kids occupied with a coloring table as well. They have the sweetest office pup named George who my kids LOVED. I’d highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist for their kids.

We had such a great visit to Dr. Parks office for my son’s first dentist experience. Everyone in the office was so kind and welcoming! They were patient and friendly as my son is slow to warm up to new people. The office is colorful and happy, so inviting for children! I absolutely would recommend taking your children here for a visit. We will be back soon!
