I visited this pediatric dental office today and was immediately informed at check-in that I had an outstanding $10 balance from a year ago. This was surprising, as at each appointment parents are required to sign documentation outlining the expected charges for that visit. I was told that after billing insurance, an additional balance remained. What was most concerning, however, was that this small balance from over a year ago had been added to my credit without prior clear communication or adequate notice. While the amount itself is minimal, the principle of transparency and proper billing communication is important. I requested receipts for clarification, but this experience further reinforced concerns I have had with this office in the past. Previously, my son had caps placed on his teeth, and within a year one of them fell off. When I called to have it replaced, I was told on two separate occasions that it would not be replaced unless I first obtained insurance coverage. I was even referred to outside resources to obtain free insurance. Fast forward to 2026, I now have insurance coverage and brought my son in for a cleaning. During that visit, I was informed that once a new cap is placed, it would be covered for over a year and replaced free of charge if anything happened to it. This conflicting information raised serious concerns for me about consistency and honesty in communication. Today’s appointment was scheduled for 2:30 PM, but my son was not taken back until 2:56 PM due to the office running behind. The assistant appeared rushed and was preparing everything very quickly. The environment felt tense rather than calming, which is especially concerning in a pediatric setting where children may already feel anxious. When the dentist entered around 3:10PM to administer anesthesia, there was little effort made to comfort or reassure my son before the injection. As any child would, he reacted with fear and hesitation after the needle was administered. Instead of demonstrating patience, the dentist began expressing frustration about being behind schedule and discussed rescheduling. We were told we would have 10–15 minutes to calm my son down before they moved on to another patient. This made us feel as though my child’s care was secondary to maintaining their schedule. While I was on the phone explaining the situation to my husband, a staff member inserted herself into my private conversation to “correct” what I was saying. I politely asked her to allow me to finish my conversation, as it was not directed toward her. Shortly after, I was informed that treatment would not proceed that day. At that point, I requested my son’s records and made the decision that we will not be returning. A pediatric dental office should prioritize patience, compassion, and transparency. Unfortunately, my experiences here have reflected rushed care, inconsistent information regarding policies, and billing practices that raise concerns. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend this establishment to other parents and will be filing formal complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

Not at all happy with the phone services. Every time I call in for any reason, I must give my whole life story and prove I am authorized to speak on behalf of my own children. I never need to speak about specific details or medical concerns that would need to be private, so I do not understand why I need to prove I am authorized to speak about my own children. I understand that security is important and needs to be protected but come on. This is the only dentist I have ever delt with that needs all of this just to make or change an appointment. This is ridiculous. And the scripted reading at the end of every conversation is a bit much. The dental services provided are a great quality and I really like the offices, but the phone services are out of this world over the top. I really dread calling in for any reason and it has made me want to change dentists every time I do speak to someone. You call the phone number for the office listed. You press the number they direct you too in order to reach the dental, vision or ortho department and you still get some general line where the person asks is this for dental, vision or ortho. Then they have to make sure you are "authorized to speak on behalf of the child". What!!! Come on.

What I aobserved and experienced as a parent was a wonderful surprise. I am so pleased to have found this practice. They are all amazing especially with children, kids and teens. They give a teemendous amount of effort have great knowledge and give as much as they can based on needs and insurance allowance. The only request I would ask for would be a bigger or a bit better slection of boy eyeglass frames. Other than that great job at this location and practice Staff above anbd beyond treatment amazing.

We brought our 5yr old here for some possible concerns and his first eye exam. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Kayla was absolutely amazing with my kiddo. We already have a dentist we love, but we'll definitely be back in the future for any pediatric eye related needs.

0 stars definitely do not recommend. I went to get my kids seen on new years for the first time thinking it would be slow, boy was I wrong. I was in the waiting room for about an hr and then when we finally get seen the back is packed. No room for 1 of my children to be seen when they were scheduled to be seen at the same time. My kids went through about 3 different people because the assistants got to go and move on to the next. The assistants looked so worn out they definitely looked overworked and unhappy. They definitely need to schedule better and take better care of the people that are working for them. The doctor also would just leave and go to the back for about 15 minutes so I’m waiting longer when my kids should all be seen at the same time. The assistants were awesome however I would have like if I just had 1 assistant for each kid throughout the whole appointment so that they already know the information that I give them and not have to repeat it to many others and then they not even being the one to be telling the doctor what is wrong.
