We feel so lucky to have this amazing pediatric dentistry so close to home. The staff is so warm and focused on making sure the kids are comfortable and feel safe. They are so fast at assessing the mouth/teeth but catch everything, the speed feels very intentional to support the child's comfort, there is no rushing clients in and out. We feel absolutely confidence in the quality of care here. In addition, the building aesthetics and design is so whimsical, modern, and cheerful, and my kid looks forward to getting a balloon and getting a toy from the nostalgic-esk knob turn toy machines. And as a final note. We have seen Children's Choice supporting numerous children's events around the city and greatly appreciate how committed they are to being a part of the community and helping provide access to toothbrushes and dental care and fun for children.

Great dentistry for children! My daughters have been patients for years and the last two years have included ortho. The staff is always kind, friendly, and helpful. They go to great lengths to create a child friendly and happy dental experience - both locations are bright and beautiful. Our favorite hygienist, Ms. Vickie is so thorough and helpful - every time we see her she offers great tips, tricks, and information to help us care for our teeth better. No shaming, just honest help. Our favorite aid for ortho care, Ms. Jade - can't say enough about how caring and gentle she is. My youngest (8) can be a bit much sometimes but Ms. Jade talks to her, explains the process, and gives her time to process her emotions. Adults often dread going to the dentist but I think my girls won't have that fear given the great experience they have at Children's Choice.

We are new patients and today was our first day. Bright, welcoming space with kind, efficient staff and great amenities for kids and parents. The visit was very thorough with cleanings, X-rays, and clear explanations throughout. They even completed required DC school dental forms on the spot. Informative and family-friendly experience! I see why so many parents in our neighborhood recommended the practice.

Taking my 1-year-old son to his first pediatric dentist visit was something I felt quite anxious about. I wasn’t sure how he would handle sitting still or cooperating during the exam, especially at such a young and active stage. However, the entire experience with Dr. Anamelechi exceeded my expectations in the best way possible. From the moment we arrived, the dentist created a warm and welcoming environment. She was incredibly patient and understanding, taking the time to gently engage with him and move at his pace. Her calm demeanor made a huge difference, and it was clear she is highly experienced in working with young children. What stood out most was how thorough she was while still being mindful of his comfort. Despite his energy and curiosity, she handled everything seamlessly, making the visit feel smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated the care and skill she brought to the appointment. I left feeling relieved, reassured, and grateful to have found such a capable and compassionate pediatric dentist. I would highly recommend her to any parent!

We are profoundly grateful to Dr. Hannah and the entire team at Children’s Choice—truly exceptional care when we needed it most. We were visiting from California on December 29 when our 2-year-old daughter split her front tooth all the way to the root. After calling nearly ten dental offices—most closed for the holiday—we were referred to Children’s Choice. From the very first phone call, it was clear we had found something special. While other offices wouldn’t even speak with us without insurance details, their staff was calm, compassionate, and immediately focused on our daughter’s emergency. They stayed open late to help us, and everyone we encountered was incredibly kind to both our daughter and our 4-year-old son. Dr. Hannah was outstanding—clearly skilled, experienced, and deeply caring. She answered every question, sang lullabies during the procedure, checked in with us throughout, and performed the extraction quickly, gently, and expertly. This was world-class pediatric care. We will never forget it, and wish every family facing a medical emergency could have an experience like this.
