I have been going to this office (Fort Totten) since my daughter’s first ever dental office visit. This office is by far one of the best pediatric offices I’ve ever seen coming from a DC native and Dental Assistant. The entire staff and Dentist are amazing. 100/10 recommend!!!!

This was our first time at this location and I was very pleased that they could help my daughter. Her filling came out on Sunday and she was in pain. She got the filling in June from the Connecticut Ave/Van Ness location. This Fort Totton location was nice and thank you for your time. Special thanks to the Doctor that handle my daughter with care and his assistant ❤️❤️❤️

It was ok being as tho this is a children’s dentist I feel the staff should be a little more kids friendly and welcoming to ease the anxiety especially for first time patients going to the dentist is already scary enough for most so to have unenthusiastic staff and team members is a bit discouraging and disappointing. I feel the dental assistants should be a little more engaged to help ease the jitter that the younger ppl may have and it can be a little cleaner overall I give it 3 rating because of the location was nice and not far from my home wich made it convenient

I brought my 1 and 2 year olds in for their first dentist appointments and fell in love! Every staff member was so polite and made them feel welcomed. The doctors are so knowledgeable and answered all my questions. We were seen almost immediately after checking in and we were in and out in about 20 minutes for each appointment. Plus my babies were so comfortable! They just laid back and followed the friendly doctor’s directions and we left with great service and clean teeth—I highly recommend!

Shining Stars has been the only pediatric dentist we’ve been with since moving to DC and they are amazing. For my two year olds first appointment yesterday she left saying she likes the dentist! The staff is friendly, attentive, and patient. I have never had an issue, highly recommend!
