Dr. Marta is warm, kind, and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I’m so grateful we found her. Her approach to pediatric dentistry takes into account the whole child - nutrition, supplementation, oral hygiene, age/rate of growth, history, current practices, and future plans, etc. For our son, she’s walking us through his journey with Invisalign; and for our daughter, she’s helped us navigate the devastating effects that undiagnosed infant acid reflux has had on her little teeth. We feel safe with her and her team. The staff is professional, and kind. Again, we are so glad we’ve found Pediatric Dentistry of New Tampa, and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

My daughter is 2.5 yo and this was her first visit to the dentist. Dr. Marta was patient and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I never felt rushed and my daughter seemed to feel very comfortable. The atmosphere/decor is inviting and friendly. Alexia was our hygienist and was very gentle and unintimidating. We are excited to establish care with this practice for many years to come.

I was referred to Dr Rivera when I moved to Tampa in 2009 and she has been my kids dentist since. She’s like family to us, she’s watched my kids grow over the years and they are quite fond of her. She is so kind but stern when it comes to dental health and my kids respect her for it. She talks to them in a relatable way, very sincere, caring and her staff reflects those qualities as well. Over the years with 3 kids and a busy schedule, her team has always responded to me with patience, understanding and care. I definitely refer anyone looking for a pediatric dentist to Dr. Marta Rivera.

I would not recommend this office due to their lack of organization and communication. When calling to set my appt I provided our insurance information, and was told that they would run the info and call me back if there were any concerns. I received no call and assumed we were good to go. Today we arrived for the appt and were asked for the insurance info again. I found this odd and told the receptionist we already provided it. She said she saw nothing on file so I gave it again. After sitting in the waiting room for 15 minutes the receptionist told us we are out of network. When I asked about the previous lady who took our info and didn’t mention anything prior, she said she didn’t know who we spoke with before. Having taken time out of both mine and mom’s schedules as well as time for our child away from school, this was a major (and PREVENTABLE) inconvenience.
