I felt the need to leave a review because if you’re a parent like me, reading the reviews may have terrified you because they terrified me. I walked in today with so much anxiety. My experience wasn’t bad at all ( thank God). We were scheduled for 10:30AM this morning. I will say that the reviews are telling the truth about the wait times however I was told at my child’s dentist office to expect the appointment to be between 3 and 5 hours and I was also told by the nurse at the sedation center how long the wait would be. The facility was nice, clean and inviting. The receptionists were very friendly. I sat down and filled out paperwork while waiting on my son to be called. His name was called in about 10 minutes. My fiance and I were asked to put on a mask and follow the nurse to a waiting room. The waiting room was nice and colorful and had a tv in it that was playing Toy Story 2. There were also plugs in this room where I was able to plug in my laptop and also play movies from it when my son grew tired of Toy Story ( he’s on the spectrum so he got tired of it really fast lol ) We waited for about 3 1/2 hours and within that time the nurse came and asked us preliminary questions to make sure my son was good to go to be put under and also continued to make sure we were okay and update us on our place in line. At the 3 1/2 hour mark, the anesthesiologist came in to let us know exactly what they would be doing and to check my son’s heart and lungs. He was very friendly and made us feel extremely comfortable. About 5 minutes later, the doctor came in who would be doing my son’s procedure, Dr.Haynes, and she was also very friendly and answered any questions we had without hesitation. After she talked to us it was time to go back. Only one parent was allowed to go so I went. They took me to the room where the treatment would take place and I sat next to my son and held his hands while they gave him a shot to relax him before the IV. Even with the shot they were very friendly and joked and tried to help me distract my son, giving him a stuffed animal that he was able to take home. After he was given the shot and he was relaxed, I had to leave and go to another waiting area while they resumed with giving him the IV and treating him. After about an hour he was finished. They came to us at the 30 minute mark letting us know that he went down with no problem and that his vitals were good. At the hour mark they came and let us know the treatment was complete and successful. My fiance went to go get my son while I went to get the car. The anesthesiologist and nurse walked with my fiancé and helped him put our son in the car. My son had no unusual marks or bruising and after the anesthesia wore off he was completely fine and back to his normal self. I asked him what he remembers about the procedure and he said that he thought they took his tongue out lol ( the numbing sensation after the procedure ) Thank you Children’s Sedation Center of Atlanta for your care and professionalism! The reviews had me a nervous wreck but I am glad we went through with it! No complaints!

My name is Talana Ortiz , I was referred to this company by dentistry for children , PLEASE PARENTS DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE , READ THE REVIEWS FIRST !!! They are so nasty Kathy And the manager!!!! and they allow training staff to schedule Appointments with no care to your schedule, only to cancel on you , they ran me in circles to get forms they need when they could call the her doctors their selves , only to cancel her appointment and tell me that she needs to be seen in the hospital! Mind you I found someone more qualified and professional and they tell me they shredded her medical records , how do you shred a email is my question ! They torture kids yall and are highly rude please rethink taking your children here they will not be cared for ! And I’m so sure the good reviews are staff made or friends of staff because the bad outweighs the good ! Like there’s no way yall are still standing as a business of such to be trusted to put our children to sleep

Dr. Choi left all 4 roots from my daughters baby teeth when they "extracted" them. The dentist said it looked like they broke them and left them there. They didn't wait for my daughter to wake up from anesthesia to discharge her. She had bruises on her mouth and they made us leave with NO GAUZE. She was bleeding everywhere. The nurse flopped her around in the wheelchair and hurt her eye. She should've been laying down recovering from the anesthesia. We Contacted a lawyer. Do not send your kids here. I have pictures and proof of everything. I even tried contacting a manger and all she could say was oh well, mhhmm and tried threatening me with a lawyer. I also saw multiple patients being treated the same way while I was there. Please be careful. Woodstock dentistry for children referred us here. I will never send another child here again. My daughter is 4 years old. Shame on them.

Children’s Dental Sedation Center was great every step of the way. We called and got an appointment for the very next day. The office was clean, not over crowded. The staff at the front desk was friendly and professional, the triage nurse, doctor, and anesthesiologist were all friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Our daughter didn’t have a bit of anxiety there. I questioned one thing the doctor (Dr Patel) recommended and she didn’t belittle us or make us feel bad for asking questions, in fact she told us we didn’t have to go forward with that portion of the treatment if we didn’t feel comfortable with it and explained why she thought it was beneficial. We ended up going with her recommendations. We would recommend this place to anyone. They do tell you when you first book it may take 3-4 hours- and it did take 3 hours from waiting room to getting wheeled out. They still apologized for how long it took, and we told them that we expected it because they were up front with it.

I was very hesitant to take my child here after i started reading the reviews. However I have to say... They were very informative and I felt like every child there was being carefully treated. The whole team for my child came in prior to surgery and talked to me. They even let me go back with her until she was asleep and i knew she was safe. I was informed 3 times during the procedure of how she was doing. I was called to come back with her and hold her while she was waking up. I even received a call within 3 hours of being back home to see if she was doing okay. I cannot thank them enough for doing the amount of work that needed to be done all at once. Yes she was puffy and very sore but i expected that after surgery. I would recommend them. our experience was a good one. I actually wish her regular dental office had as much compassion as this team did.
