I absolutely love this practice for my children. We’ve had previous dental trauma that made my oldest really struggle. However, he actually enjoys the dentist now! From the toys in the lobby, the therapy dog, the flexibility with employees allowing him to assist where he can is AMAZING. The layout of the office is perfect for parents of more than one kiddo, when both of mine are being seen I can stand and see them both at the same time, even when one is just there for a cleaning and the other has cavities to fix! I highly recommend!

Dr. Dobson and her crew are AMAZING! So patient with my littles who definitely have a fear of going to the doctor/dentist! You feel right at home as soon as you walk in and a huge plus is that they have a therapy dog and she is SO good with not only the patients but the parents too!!! Can’t recommend this office enough!

As a parent of two children with special needs, finding a provider who truly understands is incredibly important to me—and Dr. Julia Dobson at Commonwealth Pediatric Dentistry does exactly that. From the moment we walk in, I feel seen, and more importantly, my kids feel seen. Dr. Dobson and her staff are patient, compassionate, and completely non-judgmental. When my son Andrew is running around the office exploring everything in sight, no one makes us feel uncomfortable or apologetic. She gets it. She accepts him exactly as he is, and that means the world to our family. Having Lula, the therapy dog, is such a gift. She helps my kids relax and feel safe, and it truly makes a difference in their experience. For a parent who is so often used to apologizing for their child’s behavior, it is incredibly refreshing to be in a place where we are met with understanding and kindness instead. We are so grateful to have found Commonwealth Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Dobson. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Commonwealth Pediatric Dentistry office! From the moment you walk in, everything feels family-friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The environment is so comfortable, warm, and inviting. Dr. Julia and her staff are truly exceptional! You can tell immediately how sincerely they care for every child and family they serve. They take their time, explain everything in a way that is easy to understand, and make each visit feel safe, calm, and even fun. We brought in our two week old son for an upper lip and tongue tie revision through a glowing referral from our lactation consultant and family chiropractor. Growing up, I remember dentist appointments being stressful and downright traumatic. Walking into this office as a parent, I’m so relieved—and honestly grateful—that my child will have an entirely different experience! Thanks to Dr. Julia and her amazing team, our breastfeeding experience has completely changed for the better! Knowing our son is in such kind, capable hands brings us first-time parents so much peace. Highly, highly recommended to any parent looking for compassionate, top-tier pediatric dental care!

Dr. Julia and her staff are truly amazing. They make you and the kids feel so calm and welcome in her office. Dr. Julia is so wonderful about talking through everything and making sure to answer any questions. The kids loved the activities and the small little details in the office that are so sweet. We loved everything about our experience and my kids have asked multiple times when we are going back. Loula the dog was also a huge hit!! You will never want to go to another dentist after you visit commonwealth.
