After my daughter has had too many horrible experiences at a few pediatric dentist in the area. Experiences such has her being held down, which i had to physically push the dentist off of her, to her basically being verbally bullied by another dentist by being told she was lazy. Due to these my 14 yr old suffers from extreme anxiety when going to any doctor but especially any dentist. However, the moment we walked into Fern Creek Pediatric Dentistry, we both could tell this one would be different. They were immediately calming and nice at check in and then when her hygienist, Lauren, came and got her my daughter was put at ease. Lauren explained everything from the smallest thing to the everyday thing. My daughter kept telling me throughout the hour we were there that she loved Lauren and this place, which she has never done. Due to the wonderful staff and experience that our daughter had, we will be taking our sons to this amazing group of people. Thank you to Lauren and Dr Shaza for finally showing my daughter how dentistry should be. See you soon! *the pictures are of my daughter and Lauren getting the cleaning done and the TV that is on the ceiling so the kids can watch a movie while they get worked on.*

The staff was beyond wonderful and accommodating for our child's dental emergency. They explained everything in detail and were so quick with an extraction procedure. Most importantly, they made our daughter feel safe and as comfortable as possible during what can be very scary to a kid. We cant praise them enough and are so glad we switched from kids dentistree. Its a night and day difference in how we are treated!

I took my 5 year little sister for a first time check up and cleaning. Everyone I spoke with was very patient and helpful in every way shape and form. This is a great dentist for kiddo's very colorful, nice people not to mention the gentle touch. They had solutions and answers the first visit which is for sure a plus. Very organized and great communication as well. When you come in you check in of course there are about 3 to 4 video games in the lobby for kids to play with as they wait to be call to the back. They do their x-rays first that didn't even take 8 minutes. Then they direct you to the dental chair where the kids lay flat and they look up to the ceiling where there is a small TV playing a kid movie. This was a very cool touch my personal opinion. She got her teeth cleaned immediately once she got in the dentist chair than we waited for the doctor to come and review her X-ray. The doctor took about 10 minutes to come do her final exam which was no problem. We were there about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes which was awesome for a first time visit in my opinion. The lady at the reception desk gave my little sister some cool little kid prizes for being so brave. We are looking forward to our follow up visit.

I was very pleased with our services from the moment were entered until were left. The staff was professional, friendly and personable. The office is completely geared to the comfort of children. Our appointment was handled in a timely manner.

First time visit here for an exam and cleaning. Very impressed with practice and staff. We came from Dentistree where we felt things had changed ones they incorporated a braces practice. Happy to have found this practice.
