Exceptional Customer Service! My daughter had a dental issue over the weekend after oral surgery. Her oral surgeon should have been the one to respond to our issue, but the doctor on call for the oral surgeon's office (not the doctor who performed the procedure) would not speak with me. I called my daughter's dentist, Dr. Austin Bowden, for advice. He was extremely understanding and supportive and arranged for his colleague, Dr. Laura, to meet us at the office on a Sunday morning--within 1 hour of my call to him. Dr. Laura was kind, gentle, and reassuring. They took care of our issue swiftly and professionally. It was not their responsibility to come through for us, and yet, they did it anyway. Class act!

The BEST experience all around. We called in the morning with a dental emergency for my six year old. The front desk was so kind, friendly and squeezed us in that day. When we arrived my daughter was very nervous, but Dr. Bowden and his staff explained the procedure in a kid friendly, sweet way. During the procedure they distracted her with a story and even had her giggling while getting a tooth pulled!! Aside from the extraordinary care we received, I especially appreciate Dr. Bowden and his assistant’s bedside manor. It is evident he loves his career by how he treats and cares for his patients. 100% recommend for tear free dental care!!

Ten years ago, I brought my daughter to this dental office for a routine cleaning, hoping to find a provider who could help her overcome her fear of dentists. Unfortunately, the experience had the opposite effect. The dentist did not take X-rays or perform any additional diagnostic procedures. After only a brief examination, he stated, in front of my daughter that most of her baby teeth had cavities and would need to be removed. This comment caused her significant distress, and she began to cry. We later sought a second opinion from another dentist, who confirmed that this was not accurate. We never removed any of her Teeth. This incident deeply affected my daughter and contributed to her fear of dental visits for many years. For this reason, I must say that I do not recommend this office for your Family. I am sharing this now because, at the time, I was a new parent and unaware of how strongly such comments could impact a child’s confidence and emotional well-being. However, with time and perspective, I felt it was important to express our experience.

The dentists and staff at Baltimore Dental are all amazing at their professions and great human beings ( very personable and honest) . I had a new procedure done on a cuspid ( painless eventho I still had a nerve. ) when I saw my teenage granddaughter after a few months she said " wow, you have such straight teeth". What I also like the dentists are not money hungry and don't jump to do expensive work unless absolutely necessary . I have been in the dental field for many many years so I go only to the best!!! Thank you all. C Simha

My daughter came in for cavity treatment prescribed by Dr Laura, with no pain, and the original treatment plan was to treat the cavities because after the x-rays she had so many cavities . However, mid-procedure Dr. Laura stated a primary molar needed to be extracted due to a large cavity not initially on the treatment plan prescribed . The extraction attempt was unsuccessful and the tooth was broken into pieces, causing my child visible distress. We were then referred out as an emergency to an oral surgeon after a failed extraction attempt! I had to pay an additional $500 out of pocket for emergency oral surgery. The oral surgeon removed the tooth in less than 5 minutes, which raises serious concerns about why this was not referred out from the beginning and the professionalism of this practice!
