Terrible experience. Dr young was very kind and professional, until my 7 year old son got a cavity. She started putting my parenting down saying some child are “missed because they’re middle children” and putting her childhood trauma of being 1 of 11 children onto my family. Then openly in front of my son saying “watch this one”, I stupidly decided to return to have his cavity filled because I was worried it would get worse. My son is very curious and recognized that I’ve been frozen after dentist visits, so I explained to him that he would put a mask and he would get laughing gas, then once he’s relaxed they will numb him with a small needle that he won’t feel because of the mask. He was a little nervous going in but mostly because I couldn’t be in the room with him, he was VERY anxious after leaving the room because of them! During the debrief dr young AGAIN began putting my parenting down saying we don’t use the “n word” (needle) as it’s a triggering word. She and her assistant also yelled at my son during the whole process, he was crying and visibly upset and yet she proceeded to tell me it was because I made him anxious prior to the visit. She kept calling him busy and anxious in front of him!!! I also asked if I could be in the room during the numbing process and they said no. Even when my son came out he was visibly upset and the assistant wouldn’t let him come to me she, put him in the room and told him to sit. Horrible and very unprofessional, made me feel badly and put my son down in front of him. Moms already feel so much guilt and have pressure on them, going to the dentist shouldn’t leave you feeling this way. The first thing my son said when we left was “mom she was mean I want a new dentist” his first experience having his tooth filled and she and her assistant completely traumatized him.

Amazing environment🙌 Dr Tann truly is the best! He has a wonderful way of making the kids in his office feel comfortable and calm. He is thorough and carful with each of his visits. The girls in the office too are also very kind and very good at their job! Will definitely be returning ☺️

Worst experience I have ever had with my son. Dr. Tann was awful and caused my son so much pain extracting his teeth. This man shouldn’t even have a license to practice. Stay far away. 1 star is generous. Dr. Young seems to be the dentist that has received the positive reviews. If you notice, every bar review is about him. For a reason. Stay away from both is my advice.

My daughter had an amazing experience for her first cavity. Dr. Young reviewed with us after the appointment which was super nice. Her team is great from the front desk to clinic. I'm very impressed and so glad they gave my daughter a great dental experience to carry her through her lifetime.

A dentist in Toronto told us that three of our 24 month old daughter's teeth needed to be pulled, but luckily, we moved to Windsor, Ontario, and were recommended Dr. Young here. Dr. Young said that these teeth are treatable and do not need to be extracted. It has been three and a half years now, and my daughter's teeth have no problems. Many thanks to Dr. Young and her knowledge, skills, and experience are really appreciated.
