I’ve been bringing my son here for a couple of years, and the providers have always been very kind and helpful. My son was extremely anxious at first, but they consistently take the time to explain what they’re doing during each visit, which has made a big difference in easing his anxiety. It’s important to note that they do not offer in‑clinic sedation. Your child’s first visit will be an exam, and if possible, they will attempt treatment in the clinic using laughing gas and local anesthesia (your child is awake but numb in the treated area). Full sedation (general anesthesia) is performed by their dentists at a partnering hospital, and the wait time for sedation appointments is typically about 10–12 months The clinic is very busy year‑round and often booked months in advance for any type of appointment. Phone call volumes can also be higher than expected, and at times I had to leave voicemail messages and wait for a return call. By checking in frequently (almost daily), I was eventually able to secure an earlier appointment.

If I can give this place a zero star I would. Was so disappointed in this place. I was referred here from my son’s case manager. I even called to double check if they use gas for sedation due to my autism child who would not sit still during a procedure. They said yes so that’s why I made an appointment. On the day of the appointment when I arrived the lady could not get an exam of my son’s teeth. She just was like oh whatever and said okay let’s go in the room so the doctor can talk to you. So I was like umm okay. The doctor came and I told her my concerns. It wasn’t much what I was needing. Just a checkup and some cleaning and anything else if they find something. The doctor told me that unfortunately they do not do sedations there. If I knew this I wouldn’t have wasted my time making an appointment and waiting weeks to even come to just be told that. She then referred us to the twin cities in Maplewood. I had a great experience there. However they said why did this place referred us there without anything more or comments on my son’s teeth. I told them idk. They couldn’t do anything with my son and just told us to come here. I think the twin cities felt like they wasted their time because they said they shouldn’t have to sedate with gas on my child every time for an appointment l. They were however a lot more nicer and help me with everything since I was already referred here. I would never come back or referred the children’s dental services here for anyone. All staffs were rude. Horrible location and over crowded place with no personal space. Just save your time and find another clinic for your child.

Don't even bother trying to book a dental appointment for your child here.... They never answer the phone. All calls go straight to voicemail. Tried to get my son scheduled here, turns out they sent us to the wrong address. I'm furious so unprofessional never again

I was not happy with this clinic as they lied to my face, and over the phone. We stated we wanted NO fluoride during the visit. Then I see the dental technician wiping something on my child’s teeth, so I asked directly about it, “no I just need to show my friend something.” I had seen a pink packet with a paint like brush sticking out of it. Researched on my own and this is a fluoride varnish. I called the clinic they confirmed that’s what the packet was. I express my frustration, and they state they need to speak to the provider. Received a call almost a week later, with the same claim that he didn’t apply fluoride. Received our explanation of benefits in the mail, lo and behold - claim for fluoride used. I wish I had seen the reviews before they went because many of them were horrendous. We will not be back. Parent knows best and that needs to be respected and not act like we have no clue what’s going on. Oh, and they also shoved the xray tag in my child’s mouth since she was nervous and not “cooperating.” I would definitely not consider the providers literate in child behavior.
