Ultimately, I don't have a complaint about the dentist or any of the hygienist/assistants. It's really about the front desk lady who is probably one of the most unprofessional people I've had to talk to that wasn't gen z. My 5 year old daughter was referred here last year (2024) since the cleaning was done at a different dentist and she needed pediatric sedation for crowns and fillings. Some fillings and a crown came out a few months later. They said she grinds her teeth and that's why they came out. Which is fine. The front desk lady MADE me schedule a cleaning appointment with them so they could determine next steps. I tried to tell her that my daughter had a cleaning earlier that year somewhere else and they found cavities, so that's why we were referred to Ahlert. She said we need to have her come in to be assessed and a cleaning will do that. She was VERY adamant about it and I was tired of fighting with her about it. I said "fine", whatever I need to do to get my daughter in because she was in pain. They charged me 100% for the "cleaning/assessment" since insurance wouldn't cover any of it, but the nice billing lady helped take care of that. What really irked my nerve was when the front desk lady answered the phone while she was talking to her co-workers about personal stuff every single time I'd call. She would wrap up her sentence to them about whatever they were talking about before she would say "Dr. Ahlert's office". I really didn't need to know about her dishwasher issues and experiences while I am in need of getting my daughter some help. Other than that, the office is a nice place and my daughter absolutely loved picking out her scented mask and a toy for each visit.

This is not a spam review - I have over 400,000 followers on YouTube (PrettySimpleMusic). Dr. Jeffrey has been nothing short of AMAZING! Very thorough and informative in his services for my children. HOWEVER, we have had 2 different assistants for cleanings - for our 11 year old daughter. Be warned - They do not have patience for children who may be nervous or feel uneasy during their teeth cleaning process. At first I thought perhaps she had a bad day, so I gave that first experience a pass… But then we had a 6-month follow-up cleaning appointment today with a different assistant - and she not only skipped steps in the cleaning process but acted agitated during the entire time my wife and daughter were there - even when asked if flossing was included in today’s cleaning process (She clearly didn’t floss and this was a rushed cleaning & she lacked empathy!). Again, we live in Owasso and have had some really great experiences with several dentists and assistants - but excellence is not an option, it is a decision to always give your very best in whatever God has called you to do!

We had an amazing experience! We were seen in a very timely manner! Both my kids were happy and chatty during and after their cleaning! Our regular dentist was out, but Dr. Ahlert came by and checked each kid! Very thorough. We were very pleased! Even the front desk staff were on top of it and check out was seamless! Highly recommend!

Dr. and staff were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They took the time to talk with my six year old about thumb sucking and its impact in a way he would understand without making him feel bad about doing it. As a mom who gets frustrated with others making comments and pressuring him to stop, it was very greatly appreciated they were so understanding. Definitely recommend!!

I took my three year old in for her very first dental check up. I was very pleased with our experience there and will definitely take her back. The hygenist was wonderful with helping to ease my daughter’s nerves throughout the cleaning and Dr. Kimberly was great too. They gave me some great advice for flossing her teeth and thumb sucking issues as well. Bonus points for having a very lovely office space as well. All around we had a great experience!
