As a healthcare professional I can recommend this dentist office! My child is always received with a smile, the owner has a gentle demeanor and will answer any questions you have. The office is clean and has many child friendly perks that create a "fun" environment where my child see's going to the dentist as a treat! Not the dentist experience of my childhood- it's so wonderful to have my daughter feel positive about taking care of her teeth.

Little Smiles has been our pediatric dentist of choice since moving to Portland 3 years ago. The kids LOVE coming and actually look forward to their check-ups. Everyone is warm and welcoming, and eager to help even when scheduling across school schedule and summer camps. Highly recommend!

My children look forward to the dentist! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean facility, and entertaining waiting room (not that I’ve ever had to wait very long). They accommodate my three children in one visit and have only recommended dental intervention when absolutely necessary. I find them trustworthy and enjoyable.

We had an awful experience. Dr Pelley pushes for kids to be sedated. Not sure if it’s because it’s too hard for her to work on them without it or because they make more money for surgical procedures but either way the well being of the kids is not even close to the main priority. My son was calm and compliant and she roughly put a piece of equipment in his mouth until he gagged and then she promptly said she couldn’t work on him and would refer him elsewhere. You should save yourself time and your kids trauma and go to a different dentist. I don’t know why someone would chose to be a pediatric dentist when they clearly don’t like kids.

X-rays for the first time. We were nervous but the hygienist was excellent at explaining and we got everything done on the first try
