After we moved further away and tried other dentists we have returned. The staff is always fun and caring. I get my questions answered and usually have a few laughs while we're here. To address the 1 star review, we have only had to update paperwork on rare occasions, definitely not every visit. I have been allowed in the room for cleaning and exams but obviously not X-ray or when a procedure is underway. This seems like an obvious safety precaution to me.

Have been going to Children's Dr Chestari for a couple of years and have loved our experiences since our first appointment! Doctor and staff are courteous, attentive, and patient with my toddlers. My plan is to stay here as long as they are children!

I’ve taken all four of my children to Children’s Dentistry of Arlington for many years, including my now college-aged child. For a long time, we had positive experiences. However, this past year, we had a very concerning experience with my middle schooler, who is on the autism spectrum, high-functioning. Because parents are not allowed to accompany their children to the back, I am sharing this from my child’s perspective as well as my own. My child had filling work done, and we paid for(laughing gas) to help with anxiety. She shared that she was only given a few seconds to inhale it before the procedure began, and she experienced significant pain during the treatment. After the visit, she continued to have pain for weeks! especially while eating and was unable to tolerate anything even slightly hard or crunchy. We returned to the office and were charged again to have her bite adjusted. Unfortunately, the discomfort continued for several more weeks. She refused to return to this dentist. After nearly a month of ongoing pain, I sought a second opinion from a well-established and highly recommended general dentist in Mansfield. I happily paid out of pocket to have the work redone. At that appointment, I was shown images (not x-rays) indicating that not all of the cavity had been fully removed before the filling was placed, which explained the continued pain. I was more than willing to pay to have the issue corrected so my child could finally be comfortable. This experience was especially difficult given my child’s needs, and it was upsetting to feel that her discomfort may not have been fully addressed the first time. In addition, I noticed during recent visits that the office seemed very busy, with long wait times and multiple families waiting. On more than one occasion, I saw families leave without being seen. Compared to our earlier experiences, the environment now feels more rushed and less patient-focused. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this practice based on our recent experience. I would encourage other parents to proceed with caution, ask questions, and strongly advocate for their children. Wishing practice the best and improvement for the sake of future patients.

Always the best! My daughter loves going here and she trusts Dr. Shannon with her teeth and that is a big deal!

This place was great when the previous Dr. owned it. Now they are just over billing insurance companies for unnecessary treatment. My daughter had so much work done that did not need to be done. I found a new dentist and they were unsure about a lot of the work she got and why it was done in the first place. She is now getting some of that removed. My insurance company also mailed me the EOB explaining they denied many charges billed. The dentist also does not have patience with kids and can be rude. Dentist visits were traumatic for my daughter but are now better since finding a new dentist who has patience and speaks to kids respectfully and nice.
