This was my first time visiting this office. The staff and the dentist were truly great! One of my children had two teeth pulled, and she was relaxed the entire time. I am also gracious they were able to get us scheduled on such short notice. Overall, my children felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. I would recommend this office.

Cuddle Kids Dental was great in the beginning—I started bringing my son here when he was just 6 months old. Unfortunately, over time, the quality of care and organization has gone downhill significantly. My son is now almost 5, nonverbal, and autistic. He needed a dental procedure (pulpotomy) that requires anesthesia. I was initially told the anesthesia team only comes every few months, which I understood at first—but what was supposed to be a short wait turned into MONTHS—almost 8 months total. I even reached out to another office (Cook Dentistry) and was told there would be about a 6-month wait, so I initially assumed longer wait times were normal. However, the repeated scheduling issues and lack of communication here made this situation far worse than just a standard wait. At one point, I was told my son was scheduled. I completed paperwork and prepared for the appointment, only to later be told he wasn’t even on the schedule. No explanation—just “you must be mistaken.” I gave them another chance and asked to be scheduled again. After finally getting scheduled and even paying the anesthesia company, the appointment was CANCELLED—and the office didn’t even notify me themselves. They had the anesthesia company call instead. That level of communication is unacceptable. As my son got older and after his diagnosis, it became clear this office is not equipped to handle children with special needs. The patience and understanding just aren’t there. The office also feels very chaotic, which likely contributes to the long delays and limited anesthesia availability. I hate to even be writing this, but if it helps prevent another child from being in prolonged discomfort—or saves another parent time—then it’s worth sharing. I do want to say that I really like Dr. Hemphill. Unfortunately, my experience with the rest of the staff has not been the same. Not sure what changed, but this has been extremely disappointing.

DENTIST APPT FROM HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I opted for laughing gas for my 3 yr old son- and I’m almost certain they didn’t give him any, you could hear him screaming from the back to the waiting area… he wasn’t relaxed at all!!! That could be why they wouldn’t allow parents in the back during their appts. They rushed , they weren’t friendly and I’m not sure why she chose children dentistry .. never mind I do know why… adults wouldn’t allow this treatment. I’ve been crying for my son since we left yesterday!!! I have a better video of his mouth..

cuddle kids is a wonderful dentist office, Dr.Hemphill is very amazing at what she does and she's very patient with my 2 year old. The Dental assistants are also very kind and helpful all around.

We were recommended by another pediatric dentist, not because they couldn't help us, but he was in so much pain. Cuddle Kids is AMAZING. I'm so happy we have found a dentist that works wonders with special needs kids. The entire staff is helpful, patient, friendly and caring. Thank you for taking care of my grandkids.
