I am disappointed with my billing experience at Fort Worth Children's Dentistry. I recently received a bill seeking $98.00 out of pocket for services performed on my daughter in June 2024. After reviewing the itemized statement, I discovered that the only charge not fully covered by our two dental insurance plans was a $98.00 fee for “Oral Hygiene Instructions.” I found this charge extremely surprising and frustrating. My daughter does not recall receiving any oral hygiene instruction, and I was never informed that such a service would result in a separate charge of this amount. Had I been made aware of this fee in advance, I would have questioned it and expected a clear explanation of what was being provided and why it carried such a significant cost. What concerns me most is the lack of transparency. I do not believe patients or parents should be surprised months later by charges for services that were not clearly explained, especially when those services appear routine or educational in nature. It is particularly disappointing that even with two dental insurance plans, we are still being billed for a charge that seems excessive and was never discussed with us beforehand. As a result of this experience, I have lost confidence in the practice and do not plan to return for future dental treatment. Trust and transparency are important when choosing healthcare providers, and unfortunately this billing issue has damaged that trust. I believe families deserve accurate estimates, timely billing information, and straightforward explanations regarding insurance claims and patient responsibility. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. I hope Fort Worth Children's Dentistry reviews its billing practices and improves communication with patients and families to help prevent similar frustrations for others.

10/10 what an amazing experience. My 3 year old daughter is not use to other people at all and this was her first dentist appointment so I was nervous about how she would do. They let me go back with her and were amazing with her! They took it slow and knew just what to say to get her to do a teeth cleaning and X-rays! I was so impressed by everyone there and will never go to another dentist office but this one!

We had an amazing experience! Our kiddo is autistic and this dental facility is perfect for him. They have rooms with doors that close. If your kiddo likes to explore and run from room to room, like ours, a closed door provides a safe place for him to explore. The staff are extremely caring and supportive. The dentist used a calm friendly approach and clearly explained what he was going to do. He was patient and took the time to build up trust before starting the exam. We actually completed the exam and were able to brush his teeth in the dental chair….a big win!! I highly recommend this establishment.

The front office staff, hygienist Jennifer and Dr. Albasha were wonderful. My grandson is on the spectrum and we were concerned about how the staff would engage with him. They exceeded our expectations to the fullest. The patience, compassionate and attentiveness to him during the visit was spectacular.They did not require him to work with them , but instead they worked with him. Dr.Albasha, communications regarding his treatment plan and after care was detailed and clear. His passion snd sincerity for providing care for kids was heart felt. It means the world when you find providers that want to advocate for the little ones as much as you. This was indeed a great place to visit ‼️

I found this dentist office online and had a great experience. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They were able to see both of my kids at the same time, and at our next visit they even saw all three of my children even though my oldest had a different appointment time. They worked everything out so all the kids could be seen together. They are very great with children and made the visit smooth and easy.
