Dr. Black and his assistant Marcelina are absolutely wonderful. My child has special needs, and they have shown incredible patience, kindness, and understanding at every visit. They truly go above and beyond to make my child feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommend this office, especially for families with special-needs children.

Dr. Heisune and Marcelina are the best!! My son is 6 years old non verbal Autistic and we have really hard time when it comes to dentist. Dr was not scared to go to work and my son let him. I was amazed on how well he worked with my son. And Marcelina is such a big help and so nice. I highly recommend UW Pediatric dentistry for your Autistic children or any child that has hard time with dentist.

My brother with down syndrome has been with this clinic quite some time. Dr. Sharma and Marcelina were absolutely amazing! Very informative and supportive. More importantly, very sweet and accommodating to the kids. Strongly recommended for kids with special needs!

I would give zero starts if possible. My son was seen back in June for an evaluation. Then got scheduled for a procedure in August. My son wasn’t able to proceed with the procedure because he has bad dental anxiety. So we submitted a request to have him go to sleep. That insurance coverage submission was supposed to be sent when we left the office that day. PER THE DOCTORS THAT SAW HIM. I called in September and the form hadn’t been sent. Weeks after! So I spoke with someone that said they’d be sending it ( Marisa, the Surgery scheduler) . Fast forward to October, since I was told it would take weeks, maybe more than that to hear back from the insurance. They told me there wasn’t any response still. So then I gave it more time. I have been calling since NOVEMBER! NOVEMBER. And nobody can call me back or take my call. I have left voice messages and Nothing, and it’s almost the end of the year. I don’t recommend going here. Service and communication are terrible, and good luck getting someone on the phone, and if they answer they’re RUDE.

We had a wonderful experience! My grandson who has special needs was very scared, but they made him feel so comfortable like he was one of their own children. The kindness, patience and compassion they showed him took my breath away. Thank you Dr. Tino, Dr. Lin, Dr. Marcelina and Nurse Tanisha Brown I appreciate you all so much.
